A few days ago we had a really short drive between Harrisburg, PA and our next show in Lancaster, PA. We had been wanting to hit up a corn maze for a while but our first attempt was on a rainy, muddy day so we decided to give it another shot. We headed to Strites’ Orchard, and after chatting to the ladies in the farm market and stocking up on apple cider and pumpkin whoopee pies, we went to check out their corn maze.
After running into the field of corn, perhaps trying to make ourselves lost just for the fun of it, we realized that it wasn’t hard to lose our bearings because it was a small area, so the boys decided to use this to their advantage, and a full on corn husk war ensued.
Then the late afternoon sun came out, warmed us all up, and cast a magical glow over the cornfield and surrounding landscapes. One of the Strites’ apple orchards was adjacent to the corn field, and since we had been instructed by the ladies at the farm market to pick as many apples as we wanted, we did as we were told! The apples were delicious, and we picked a few extras for pie making that will be happening today!
We’re getting ready to head back to Canada tomorrow, and as we’re prepping ourselves for much colder temperatures, it was nice to have one final autumn outing. Speaking of Canada, please check out all our Canadian TOUR DATES! We’ll be playing a whole lot of shows all across the country, and we’d really love to see you there!
Until next time,
