Here are some snapshots from the past few weeks of tour. I know I’m a bit behind, but I’m doing better than the last tour!
Yes, it was time for a coffee break! The Mann van in Dawson Creek, BC on the way to Peace River, AB.
Longboarding along the Peace River, in the town of the same name. This was probably one of the most memorable nights of tour, since the mayor of the town, whose name is Lorne Mann, came to the show!
Stage set up at Avenue Theatre in Edmonton, AB.
Waiting for the venue to open in Regina, SK.
Playing at 5th Ave Cup and Saucer in Yorkton, SK for an afternoon show. It was great until halfway through our friend Emily’s set it started POURING and we had a mad rush to get everything covered!
From Giants playing at Sam’s Club in Winnipeg. We also got to see these folks a few days later at Cornerstone!
Loading out in Minneapolis, MN
Mike Mains and the Branches at Cornerstone Festival in Bushnell, IL. What a great show!
So there you go. I’ll try and keep updating until I’m fully caught up! We’re playing at Cafe Babylone tonight in Quebec City, which I think is one of my favorite places in Canada to visit. Our show is slightly overshadowed by the fact that Metallica is playing at an outdoor festival not far from where we are…so hopefully some people prefer nice folk music to 80s metal. We will see. 🙂
Until next time, cheers!
